BENGALURU: India’s wealthiest individuals and entities spent more than Rs 7,100 crore buying just 51 ultra-luxury homes in 2025, signalling a sharp deepening of demand at the very top end of the residential property market, registration data analysed by Zapkey show. The transactions marked the highest-ever concentration of value in a limited number of home purchases. The single largest transaction was Leena Gandhi Tewari’s Rs 739-crore purchase in Worli.
