MUMBAI: Namita Pritesh Pawar, the BJP candidate from Ward No. 11 in Nalasopara West, has been actively campaigning on the streets, drawing attention for her tireless efforts despite being nine months pregnant. Her presence on the campaign trail day and night has surprised many residents.Hailing from a family with a strong background in social service, Pawar is being fully supported by her husband during the campaign. Speaking about her motivation, Namita said the current condition of the Vasai–Virar City Municipal Corporation is poor, with residents facing a lack of basic amenities. “As a local citizen, I have personally experienced these problems, which is why I decided to step forward and address them myself,” she said.Her husband, Pritesh Pawar, said he stands firmly by her decision and is extending full support to her campaign.
