Mumbai: A 65-year-old woman lost her life after being knocked down by an autorickshaw while she was out for a morning walk at Khar recently. The auto driver, Kailash Singh, brought her to the Bhabha Hospital but she succumbed to her injuries at 5.30 am. Police have registered an FIR against Singh. The victim would step out of home at 4.30 am for a morning walk and return by 8.30 am. On Saturday morning, her family was waiting for her to return home from her walk so that she could be taken for a medical check up. When she did not return, her son went out to look for her but couldn’t find her. A neighbour who worked at the hospital asked them to rush there.
