MUMBAI: The Bombay Catholic Sabha has strongly condemned the “brutal intimidation” of Christians in some parts of the country and an increase of such “terror tactics during this Christmas season”. BCS spokesperson Dolphy D’souza said, “There are several videos of such acts by right wing persons and some belonging to the ruling party. We have tweeted to PM Narendra Modi and other political leaders seeking their intervention to stop this. We have also tweeted to state CM Devendra Fadnavis pointing to attacks on Christians in Maharashtra during 2025. We urge him to ensure that Christians in Mumbai and across Maharashtra have a peaceful Christmas season. Police must be instructed to enforce rule of law equally.”
