MUMBAI: The Rs 25,000-crore rights offer for Adani Enterprises, the flagship of the Adani Group, closed with 108% subscription with the public portion subscribed 130%. The promoters of the company who hold 74% in the company had said that they would participate in the rights offer to subscribe to their full quota. The public portion of the offer was oversubscribed by 30%.Institutional investors in Adani Enterprises, including GQG, the US-based fund that has stakes in several group companies, several mutual funds, including SBI MF, Aditya Birla MF, Kotak MF also participated in the offer, sources said. LIC and IHC of Abu Dhabi, both holding about 4% in the company, too participated.
