Cong MP: BJP minister siphoned 125cr DPDC funds | Mumbai News

    -

Mumbai: Congress Mumbai chief and MP Varsha Gaikwad has alleged Mumbai suburbs guardian minister Ashish Shelar siphoned Rs 125 crore from District Planning Development Committee (DPDC) funds to his Bandra West assembly constituency, which is part of Gaikwad’s parliamentary constituency. Gaikwad posted on X: “This is not governance; it is misuse of power and an authoritarian grab that tramples upon the very principles of democracy and the Constitution. Such a skewed allocation of Rs 125 crore to Bandra West assembly segment amounts to a betrayal not only of opposition MLAs but also of BJP legislators in Mumbai Suburban District.”
