Mumbai: Finding that there are serious charges that show he is the mastermind of the criminal conspiracy, a sessions court rejected the third bail plea of Ketan Kadam, arrested in the Rs 65-crore Mithi desilting fraud. Kadam, former CEO of Virgo Specialties, charged with criminal conspiracy and forgery following an economic offences wing probe into irregularities over the use of specialised dredging machinery. “The materials placed in voluminous documents, which is a part of the chargesheet, show that the applicant had compelled the contractors to execute agreement of hire with his company and compelled them to hire the machines on exorbitant rent,” said the judge.
