MUMBAI: A fire broke out at Bhatia Hospital in Grant Road on Monday afternoon. The incident was reported at around 1.35pm following which the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) rushed to the spot.The fire was confined to electrical wiring and installations in the CT-MRI unit on the hospital’s ground floor. Heavy smoke was reported in the area, but the blaze was brought under control and extinguished by the fire brigade.Emergency response teams, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade, police, BEST, ward staff and 108 ambulance services, were mobilised as a precautionary measure. No injuries have been reported so far.
