Mumbai: Mumbai North MP and union commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal has released his performance report where he highlighted his achievements on completion of a year in office. The MP mentioned tourism-related works inside the Sanjay Gandhi National Park and road-connectivity projects between Dahisar and Mira Road among his achievements. A release by the BJP politician’s office said that with the support of sponsors, sanitary pads were distributed to 60,00 girl students from municipal schools. A sports event was organised in his constituency to identify talent.A skill centre, his brainchild, offers training and employment opportunities, said the release.Goyal entered electoral politics by contesting the election from a constituency considered the safest seat for the BJP, replacing Gopal Shetty as the MP from Mumbai North.
