    Fourteen-year-old Indian batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 171 runs against UAE in the ACC Under-19 Men’s Asia Cup 2025 Group A match at Dubai’s ICC Academy Ground on Friday, December 12, becoming the second-highest Indian scorer in U19 ODIs and helping India begin their campaign successfully.Suryavanshi’s innings was marked by rapid scoring, reaching his fifty in 30 balls and completing his century in 56 balls. His knock included five fours and nine sixes, coming after India lost their captain Ayush Mhatre early in the match.

    Suryavanshi’s runs placed him behind Ambati Rayudu’s unbeaten 177 against England U19 in 2002, moving him up from his previous position of tenth highest scorer.Top 10 U-19 scorers

Suryavanshi’s recent achievements also include a rapid 144 runs off 42 balls against UAE in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, a T20 tournament held in Doha on November 14.
