Kristi Noem: ‘I know. There’s nothing I can do about it’: Kristi Noem’s husband to online models on wife’s alleged affair

Kristi Noem’s husband Byron Noem apparently spoke about his wife’s alleged affair with Corey Lewandowski (left) to online models.

Kristi Noem‘s husband Byron Noem apparently is well aware of her affair with Corey Lewandowski, as revealed by a massive expose by the Daily Mail. The investigation is not about Kristi Noem who recently lost his Department of Homeland Security but about the double life her husband had been living which, the report claimed, put Noem’s position as the DHS secretary at risk. The Daily Mail came across a trove of messages and photos of Byron crossdressing for online chats with fetish models under a pseudonym. The chats continued long enough for the models to figure out that they were actually chatting with the husband of Kristi Noem. One of the models reportedly asked Byron about Krist Noem’s alleged affair with Corey Lewandowski. “I know. There’s nothing I can do about it,” Byron apparently told the model. During their online chats, Byron told those models that he was married and had a family. He also said he loved his wife.

Lewandowski reappeared at Noem’s side during her official trip to Guyana last week. They have three children: daughters Kassidy and Kennedy, and son Booker.Kristi Noem’s alleged affair with Corey began around 2019. Corey is also married — since 2005 — to Alison Lewandowski and has four children together. Before marrying Corey, Alison was previously married to Brian Kinney, a friend of Corey who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Maharashtra auto drivers to stage morcha at RTO on April 8 over welfare scheme fees | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: Auto drivers across Maharashtra will stage a morcha to Regional Transport Office (RTO) premises on April 8, protesting what Unions have called an unjustified fee structure for joining the state welfare scheme for drivers. In Mumbai, the main protest will be held outside the Andheri RTO, where a large gathering of drivers is expected. Union leaders have warned that the agitation could disrupt autorickshaw services across the suburbs during the day.At the centre of the protest is the requirement for each driver to pay Rs 500 as a joining fee and Rs 300 as an annual fee to enrol in the welfare scheme, taking the total to Rs 800. Driver representatives said the charges defeat the very purpose of a welfare board, which was set up around a year ago to support workers in the sector.Union leader Shashank Rao said the fee is unreasonable, especially when several other welfare boards reportedly charge only one rupee for registration. He argued that autorickshaw drivers already bear heavy financial burdens, including permit costs and annual compliance expenses, and should not be forced to pay such a high amount in the name of welfare.Rao also questioned the scale of collections likely under the scheme. With an estimated 15 lakh drivers in the state, unions said the government could collect around Rs 120 crore from drivers. “Is this for our welfare or for the transport department’s welfare?” he asked.Adding to the anger are allegations from drivers that, unofficially, they are being told to first pay the Rs 800 before fitness certificates are cleared or transport-related documents are processed. Union leaders described this as coercive and extortionary, saying no driver can be compelled to pay to access routine approvals. The April 8 protest is expected to draw participation from auto unions across the state, with Mumbai likely to witness one of the biggest turnouts outside the Andheri RTO.

Valanka Alemao has accused top federation officials of intimidation and harassment

Panaji: The All India Football Federation’s executive committee member, Valanka Alemao, has approached the FIFA ethics committee for an inquiry into “intimidation and harassment” by the top brass of the federation.A day after putting on record the “entirely disgusting behaviour” of AIFF president Kalyan Chaubey, vice president NA Haris and deputy secretary general M Satyanarayan, Valanka has now written to FIFA to “voice out against the disrespectful actions shown towards me in the executive committee meeting in Delhi on Sunday.”“They heckled and harassed me despite me being an executive committee member and having the distinction of being elected as the first women to the AIFF executive committee since 1937,” Valanka wrote in a complaint to ethics committee chairperson Martin Ngoga. “I request the FIFA ethics committee and the FIFA women’s football committee to inquire into the matter and initiate action as per FIFA Statutes as I believe that such actions should not be repeated against anyone.“I am also exploring the possibility of taking up the issue at other important fora so as to curb this tendency to harass and humiliate a woman member.”One of FIFA’s judicial bodies, the independent ethics committee is primarily responsible for investigating possible infringements of the FIFA Code of Ethics. Ngoga, chairman of the investigatory chamber, is former Prosecutor General of Rwanda and former Special Representative to the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. In a statement, the AIFF “categorically rejected” Valanka’s claims and said its executive committee member, also CEO of Churchill Brothers FC, “exerted sustained pressure” on the federation to facilitate the Goan club in the top-tier Indian Super League (ISL).Valanka had accused top federation officials of intimidation and harassment. In an email to all members, Valanka detailed the harassment during the executive committee meeting where the AIFF president “made remarks which were unnecessary and disrespectful.”“He along with the DSG also raised his tone time and again beyond an acceptable decibel with the intention to intimidate me. I feel deeply prejudiced and I found that several attempts were made by the president to suppress my voice,” Valanka said in her complaint, a copy of which was emailed to all members.

South African cricketer under investigation after walking out of final to catch UK flight | Cricket News

Beyers Swanepoel (Photo by Justin Setterfield/Getty Images)

South African allrounder Beyers Swanepoel’s proposed stint with Worcestershire has been thrown into uncertainty after he left his domestic side, the Lions, mid-match during a one-day cup final, triggering an investigation by Cricket South Africa (CSA).Swanepoel had played a key role in the final, picking up 3/44, before unexpectedly walking off the field with eight overs still remaining in the game. His sudden departure, reportedly to catch a flight to the United Kingdom for his county stint, left the Lions a player short at a crucial stage. Forced to continue with just ten players, the team went on to suffer a narrow defeat, intensifying scrutiny over his actions. The incident has not gone down well within the Lions camp, with team management expressing disappointment and terming the move as contrary to team values and professionalism.

NOC Under Review

CSA has since launched an inquiry into the matter, and Swanepoel’s No-Objection Certificate (NOC), a mandatory requirement for participation in overseas leagues, remains unsigned. “We are investigating the matter and following protocol as per NOC regulation. We will advise everyone accordingly on the way forward once the investigation is concluded within 48 hours,” Eddie Khoza, CSA executive, domestic cricket, told ESPNcricinfo.

County Future Hangs in Balance

Swanepoel, who is uncapped internationally, signed a one-year red-ball contract with Worcestershire in December, having previously played for Kent. Worcestershire said that they were “aware of the reports” ahead of Swanepoel’s arrival for the start of the Championship. “We are in the process of establishing the full facts and, while that is ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further,” the club said in a statement. The Lions were unaware of Beyers Swanepoel’s overseas deal until he walked off the field during the match. By that stage, Swanepoel, who typically bowls at the death, had already completed his full quota of 10 overs, as the Lions were attempting to break a 78-run sixth-wicket partnership between Keegan Petersen and Duan Jansen. Having helped reduce the Titans to 121/5 in their chase of 249, Swanepoel was unable to make further breakthroughs before leaving the field.Initially, players and officials from both sides assumed he had picked up a minor injury. The Lions even brought on a substitute fielder temporarily, but a query from the Titans regarding Swanepoel’s absence revealed that he had actually left the ground. By then, he had returned to the dugout, said his goodbyes to teammates, and departed for the airport to catch a 7:30 pm flight from Johannesburg.Once it was confirmed that Swanepoel was no longer at the venue, the Lions were not permitted a substitute fielder for the remainder of the match, as his absence was not injury-related. Reduced to 10 players, they ultimately lost the game on the penultimate ball.

What Action Will Lions Take Against Swanepoel?

Jono Leaf-Wright, the Lions chief executive, said he’s extremely disappointed at Swanepoel’s actions with ESPNcricinfo reporting that there’s a possibility of the team terminating his contract.“I am extremely disappointed in Beyers. His actions go completely against the culture and values of the team which we have worked to build for the last six years. He has let the union and the fans down,” Leaf-Wright told ESPNcricinfo. “He has let the union and the fans down.”

“Yeah, well, I wasn’t really on the radar. I pulled out of the IPL this year. To be brutally honest, someone with my skill set doesn’t usually attract the kind of money that other skill sets do. Considering the time commitment the IPL requires, it didn’t feel like a reasonable choice for me to continue playing it,” Zampa said.“I was planning to take a break, but then the PSL came into the picture about a month ago. It’s all happened pretty quickly, but I’m enjoying it,” he added.Zampa has played 22 matches in his IPL career and picked up 31 wickets.

‘Two-year ban rok di’: How Mohsin Naqvi saved Naseem Shah’s career in last-minute call | Cricket News

Mohsin Naqvi and Naseem Shah (Image credit: Agencies)

NEW DELHI: Naseem Shah was reportedly facing a two-year ban, but a last-minute decision to impose only a fine saved his career, according to former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali. The Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday imposed a PKR 20 million (USD 72,000) fine on the 23-year-old for a controversial social media post criticising Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s presence at the PSL opening game during an ongoing Middle East conflict. Maryam is the daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and niece of incumbent PM Shehbaz Sharif.“Why is she being treated like the Queen at Lords?” Naseem had posted in reference to Maryam, before deleting the post.Basit said it was due to PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi that Naseem’s career was saved. He claimed Naqvi advised against imposing a ban on the pacer, who has played 20 Tests, 34 ODIs and 37 T20Is so far.

Inside Pakistan’s camp What is the Naqvi problem

“Naseem Shah bahut lucky hain. Jo andar ki khabar hai, main bata deta hoon — un par 2 saal ki pabandi lagne wali thi. Jo aap committee ki baat kar rahe hain, unhone yeh keh diya tha. Iska credit Mohsin Naqvi ko jata hai. Unhone mana kar diya ki nahi, pabandi na lagayein, aap fine kar dein — uska future hai. Paise woh de sakta hai, lekin kisi ke career se nahi khelna chahiye. Unhone ban rok di. [Naseem Shah is very lucky. Let me tell you the inside story — he was facing a two-year ban. The committee you are referring to had already indicated that. The credit goes to Mohsin Naqvi. He refused and said no, don’t impose a ban — just fine him. He has a future. He can pay money, but you shouldn’t play with someone’s career],” Basit said.“Jab yeh central contract sign karte hain, wahan par saare clauses likhe hote hain. Us samay yeh kyun nahi padhte? Aur us waqt apne manager ko kyun bhej dete hain? Galti hui hai — chahe aap bolein manager ne ki hai ya Naseem Shah ne. Warna 2 saal ki pabandi hoti. 2 saal bahut hote hain [When players sign a central contract, all these clauses are clearly mentioned. Why don’t they read them at that time? And why do they send their manager instead? A mistake has been made — whether you say it was by the manager or by Naseem Shah. Otherwise, there would have been a two-year ban. And two years is a long time],” the former cricketer added.Naseem was issued a show-cause notice on March 27, immediately after Maryam visited the Gaddafi Stadium as chief guest for the PSL opener. The post was quickly deleted, and it was claimed that the account had been hacked, but the PCB did not accept the explanation. The board stated that Naseem had issued an unconditional apology for his conduct.“Naseem’s reply was reviewed by the committee, and after evaluating everything, it has been determined that Naseem is found to have breached various clauses of his central contract, and a fine of PKR 2 crore has been imposed,” the PCB said.
