Hyderabad: Pharma player Hetero on Friday said it has rolled out exports of its generic semaglutide injection portfolio as part of a multi-year plan to widen access to treatments for type 2 diabetes and obesity in more than 75 countries.The Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company said initial rollouts are under way in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, with additional launches planned in other markets subject to regulatory approvals.The injectable therapies will be sold under the brand names Truglyx, Rolmodl and Moto G. Semaglutide belongs to the GLP-1 class of medicines, which are used in diabetes care and weight management.Hetero said the export launch is part of its broader strategy to improve access to advanced cardio-metabolic therapies, particularly in emerging markets.The company said the products will be offered in multi-dose disposable pen devices designed in line with innovator formats and will be available in several strengths, including 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, 2 mg, 1.7 mg and 2.4 mg, allowing dosing flexibility for both diabetes and obesity treatment.Hetero said it is also awaiting approval from India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) after completing clinical trials in type 2 diabetes and obesity and plans an India launch after regulatory clearance.Hetero managing director Dr Vamsi Krishna Bandi said the company aims to provide high-quality, affordable generic semaglutide through a single global product platform backed by its manufacturing and development capabilities.He said Hetero would use its commercial networks across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America to support supply and access. The Hyderabad-headquartered Hetero operates in more than 145 countries and employs over 30,000 people.

In a recent interview, Akshay has reacted to Rajpal’s case while recalling an advice given to him by the late Asrani. For those not in the know, Asrani passed away in October last year and his last two films were with Akshay and Priyadarshan. The late actor will also be seen in ‘Bhooth Bangla’. Akshay recalled that Asrani had once advised him to not produce films. The ‘Khiladi’ actor said in an interview with Screen, “I have done a lot of films with him. In his last days, he shared a couple of things from his life with me. He spoke about the time he faced the biggest stress of his life, he had told me, never produce a film. He said, ‘Akshay, don’t ever produce a film, it was the biggest mistake of my life when I put in my own money. When you produce a film with someone else’s money, it’s fine, the risk and profit is their’s, when you think of earning more for yourself by putting in your money, it never sits well.’ He had produced a film and faced huge losses. It was a good film, but it didn’t work. He said he lost his life savings because of that. So he told me never to produce by putting in your own money.”

Once he got the all-clear from Cricket Australia, it’s been a bit of a painstaking process to build him up to where he feels confident and strong about bowling. Over the next couple of weeks, he’ll keep building, and hopefully we’ll have a clearer timeline in 10 to 12 days,” he explained.Vettori was all praise for stand-in skipper Ishan Kishan, who, apart from enjoying a purple patch at the T20 World Cup, also led Jharkhand to their maiden Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 title.“He was added to the group last year, and the leadership that he exuded throughout the season, particularly in the back half when he took over the wicket keeping, really brought energy to the group and set up our back half. When Cummins was unfortunately out of the initial stage of the tournament, we obviously had some decisions to make. His experience with his state team, in particular, had been so impressive, and he was in really good form. So between Abhishek (Sharma) and himself, we feel like we’ve got a really good leadership group to lead us this year.”Vettori also added that three young Indians, led by Karnataka southpaw R Smaran, are in contention for a place in the XI. The Centre plans to raise Rs 8.20 lakh crore from the market in the first half of FY27 through dated securities, accounting for over half of its revised annual borrowing programme, the finance ministry said on Friday, PTI reported.The borrowing, scheduled for April–September 2026-27, is aimed at funding the fiscal deficit and bridging the revenue gap. It includes Rs 15,000 crore through Sovereign Green Bonds (SGrBs).The government had budgeted gross market borrowings at Rs 17.20 lakh crore for FY27, but after switches of government securities (G-Secs), the revised borrowing stands at Rs 16.09 lakh crore.“Of Rs 16.09 lakh crore, Rs 8.20 lakh crore (51 per cent) is planned to be borrowed in H1 through issuance of dated securities, including Rs 15,000 crore of Sovereign Green Bonds (SGrBs),” the ministry said.The borrowing will be completed through 26 weekly auctions, with amounts ranging between Rs 28,000 crore and Rs 34,000 crore. Securities will be issued across maturities of 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 30, 40 and 50 years.The 10-year segment will account for the largest share at 29%, followed by 5-year (15.4%), 15-year (14.5%), and other tenures including 3-year (8.1%), 7-year (8.1%), 30-year (7.3%), 40-year (8%) and 50-year (9.6%).To improve participation, 5% of the notified amount in each auction will be reserved for retail investors under the non-competitive bidding route.The Centre will retain flexibility to modify the borrowing calendar, including changes in issuance size, maturities and instruments such as floating rate bonds (FRBs) and inflation indexed bonds (IIBs), depending on market conditions.Switch and buyback operations will continue to smoothen the redemption profile. “Switches of dated securities through auction will be conducted on the third Monday of every month or at more frequent intervals. In case the third Monday is a holiday, the switch auction will be conducted on the fourth Monday of the month,” the ministry said.The government will also retain the greenshoe option to accept an additional subscription of up to Rs 2,000 crore for each security.Separately, weekly Treasury Bill (T-Bill) borrowings in the first quarter are expected at Rs 24,000 crore for 12 weeks, including Rs 12,000 crore in 91-day T-Bills, and Rs 6,000 crore each in 182-day and 364-day instruments.To manage temporary cash mismatches, the Reserve Bank of India has fixed the Ways and Means Advances (WMA) limit for the first half of FY27 at Rs 2.50 lakh crore.In the Union Budget 2026-27, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman had projected a fiscal deficit of 4.3% of GDP, amounting to Rs 16.9 lakh crore. “To finance the fiscal deficit, the net market borrowings from dated securities are estimated at Rs 11.7 lakh crore. The balance financing is expected to come from small savings and other sources. The gross market borrowings are estimated at Rs 17.2 lakh crore,” she had said.

Iran-linked hackers have reportedly claimed that they broke into the personal email inbox of FBI Director Kash Patel and published a series of private photographs and documents online, marking one of the most sophisticated cyberattacks on a sitting US law enforcement chief. According to a report by news agency Reuters, the claim was made on Friday (March 27) by the hacker group Handala Hack Team, which also took responsibility for hacking the medical devices manufactured by Stryker – one of the biggest medical equipment maker in the US.The report says that the hackers posted extensive material on its website along with a pointed message for the FBI Director: Patel “will now find his name among the list of successfully hacked victims.”

What material has hackers published

The report claims that the hackers uploaded a collection of personal photographs of the FBI director, including images of Patel smoking and sniffing cigars, riding in an antique convertible and taking a selfie in the mirror while holding a large bottle of rum. Additional documents were also published alongside the photographs. Reuters says that a Justice Department official confirmed that Patel’s email had indeed been breached, and said the material published online appeared to be authentic. The news agency claims that Reuters reviewed a sample of the uploaded material, which appeared to contain a mix of personal and work-related correspondence dating from 2010 to 2019.The news agency, however, says that they were unable to independently authenticate the emails but the personal Gmail address that Handala claims to have broken into matches an address linked to Patel in previous data breaches, according to records preserved by dark web intelligence firm District 4 Labs.Meanwhile, several accounts on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) have started to post photos purportedly from the breach and a message from Handala.

They described Trump’s public messaging as confusing, internally inconsistent and increasingly detached from battlefield reality.Trump’s claim that the war is already won is “mostly hyperbole,” according to a senior White House official who was granted anonymity to speak candidly about the administration’s thinking.“It’s part [of Trump] just wanting to declare victory and move on.”That impulse, the official said, has become more noticeable in recent days. “[Trump] is getting a little bored with Iran,” the official said. “Not that he regrets it or something — he’s just bored and wants to move on.”A second White House official, also anonymous, said Trump has already begun shifting his focus away from the conflict and toward the economy, domestic issues and the upcoming midterm elections.But for many inside and outside the administration, the war is far from over.According to a previously unreported intelligence assessment cited by Reuters, the United States has destroyed roughly a third of Iran’s missile arsenal, offering the clearest picture yet of the impact of nearly a month of sustained US-Israeli strikes.At the same time, tensions remain high. This person clearly isn’t in the room and is a low-level staffer.”The second White House official offered a defense of the administration’s broader communications approach, saying there is a distinction between the White House’s two main messaging channels. According to that official, the administration’s official accounts in Trump’s second term have leaned more heavily into viral content, while Trump’s Truth Social account has served as the more substantive platform for policy and communication.That same official also said there is a clear “divide” among White House officials over how to handle messaging as the war drags on.All of the current and former Trump White House officials who spoke with MS NOW under anonymity said they do not share these opinions openly inside the White House because they fear consequences.“So many people are afraid of being on the outs that they are just drinking the Kool-Aid and going along with it,” said the former White House official.

I wish them the very best and Godspeed with the most valuable IPL franchise,” Mallya wrote, acknowledging the consortium led by the Aditya Birla Group and Times of India Group. Reflecting on his bold move back in 2008, he added, “When I bought the franchise in 2008 for INR 450 crores, most people laughed at me and criticised my investment as a vanity project.”

Mallya defended that decision, saying it was part of a larger vision. “Behind my much touted madnesses was building the Royal Challenge brand, and hence I named the franchise RCB,” he wrote.
